No. The mug works with a standard tealight candle, which is sold separately.

Chocolate is the star, but it also works for melting cheese or butter. Dip strawberries, marshmallows, cookies, bread, fruit or crackers.

The mug is approx. 4 in across the top and 4.7 in tall, and weighs approx. 12.7 oz. In the box you'll find one ceramic fondue mug and one stainless steel fork.
